Sprint Race Sold Out -
On Wednesday, July 23rd the Sprint Race has officially sold out.  There will not be a waiting list for the 2008 event.  The Half Distance Race still has spots available for both individuals and relay teams."

Bicycling Magazine (May 2008) featured The Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival (the only New England triathlon) as one of 21 must do triathlons. "Bicycling consulted industry insiders, club leaders and triathletes from beginners to pros to reate this 2008 mutisport calendar.  These 21 events will all leave you wanting to tri, tri again."


April NEWS FLASH!!

Papa Wheelies will be leading tours of the Half and Sprint Bike Courses in July and August:

On Saturday, July 12th and Saturday, August 9th,  Papa Wheelies Bicycle Shop of Portsmouth, NH will guide the Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival bike courses. Rides will begin at Spring Hill with a start time of 7:30am, suggested arrival time is 7am.  There will be guided rides of one loop of the Half Course (36 miles  - omits the second loop) and Sprint Course (14.5 miles).  There are maps available online for both the bike and run courses. This is a self supported ride, please have the appropriate drinks, nutrition, and repair kits with you. Please review the online maps of the run course should you choose to run after the ride (there will not be guided runs).  Swimming may be available post ride/run depending on Spring Hills Banquet schedule.  Please note there are no shower facilities on site.

We do request an RSVP for the rides by July 10th and August 7th. All questions should be directed to pumpkinmantri@yahoo.com.


The Pumpkinman Triathlon

The Pumpkinman Triathlon was created and developed by the Seacoast Riptide Triathlon Team (SRTT) which is a unique group of talented age group athletes who joined together in 2006 to race, train, and promote their love of the sport of triathlon. With experience developing and directing races such at the Sea to Summit Race, Aggieman, Eliot Duathlon, and Eliot Festival Days 5K, the SRTT is equipped to deliver USAT sanctioned, chip timed, well run, fun, and safe events. With the support of the South Berwick Town Manager and the South Berwick Police Department, the Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival is sure to be an exciting weekend for multiple seacoast communities.
